NDIS Code of Conduct: Overview

This short video produced by the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission  provides an introduction to the NDIS Code of Conduct. The NDIS Code of Conduct helps ensure the rights of people receiving support to access safe and ethical supports and services. The NDIS Code of Conduct helps us all respect and uphold those rights by defining expected conduct, behaviour and culture.  

Safety & Competency

This short video uses real-world examples to describe how supports must be delivered safely and competently, with care and skill. As a service provider, it is My Care Match's responsibility to make sure every support worker has the necessary training, competence and qualifications. They also need to use a person-centred approach. 

Integrity, Honesty & Transparency

This video talks about the need for people to be able to make informed decisions about their supports. It uses real-world examples to show supports and services delivered with integrity and honesty. This is what you can expect to see in every aspect of our work and shows what integrity looks like in action. 

Eliminating violence, exploitation, neglect and abuse

People with disability and/or seniors  have the right to feel safe, but have an increased risk of harm. This video uses real-world examples to show the importance of keeping vulnerable people safe from harm.  

Fair Pricing

My Care Match clients have the right to access appropriate and affordable services.

Meeting the obligations of the Code of Conduct requires that all reasonable steps are taken to ensure clients are not taken advantage of, and that their rights are respected. 

My Care Match has a simple, flat pricing structure that is designed so that support workers earn good, above industry average hourly rates, whilst offering value and affordability for our clients.
